About the Quail Hunt
Georgia’s Own Credit Union is excited to host our 22nd annual quail hunt benefit in South Georgia at Southern Woods Plantation. Located in Sylvester, Georgia, Southern Woods boasts a hunting experience to remember. Here we will be hunting the “Prince of Game Birds” on many acres of 100-year-old pine trees. Southern Woods maintains the ideal Bobwhite Quail habitat. Their guides walk the land with a love of nature and a passion for the hunt. They walk the ground as though they were in their backyard, knowing every covey by name.
Join us on Tuesday, March 10th – Thursday, March 12th to participate in this year’s event as a sponsor, hunter, door prize donor, or simply by purchasing raffle tickets. For questions or more information, please contact Brianne Heape at quailhunt@georgiasown.org and join our Facebook group for more updates. The Credit Union looks forward to seeing you in 2026!

About America’s Credit Unions PAC
Georgia’s Own has a strong history of non-partisan political action, and we work to make a positive difference on the issues that impact how we serve our members.
One of the ways we do this is through consistent support of the federal and state credit union PACs. Through these we engage with other credit unions and organizations to protect and advance our industry.
Your involvement with the Quail Hunt helps with this effort as it supports the state and federal PACs. And these PACs help ensure credit unions have a stronger voice on a state and federal level.
It is vital that our industry works together to shape the future for all credit union members, and we thank you for your involvement in this collective effort with the Quail Hunt.
Contributions to PACs are not tax deductible. Participation is voluntary, and you have the right to refuse without reprisal.
